Mex and the City is a cultural website and blog created to promote the free thinking, enterprising, and artistic efforts of young creatives in New York City. It is a blog that speaks about the increasing Mexican culture in the fast-paced New York landscape in a fun and personal tone. Under the direction of Marina Garcia-Vasquez and with founding members Iris Avelar, Ruby Vizcarra, and Erika Mercado, M&TC has grown beyond a blog and into a budding creative consultant agency, developing cultural initiatives with existing and emerging brands and communities in NYC.

M&TC reflects a community of New York tastemakers, trendsetters, and culture mavens across many industries. Think fashion designers, gallerists, boutique shops owners, restaurateurs, hoteliers, media executives, and philanthropists. M&TC promotes positive images of Mexican identity and culture on a global scale.
